There's something wrong, either with Blogger or my aunt's configuration...whatever. I'll just post this and see if it turns out normal. The way things have been acting ard me lately, i'll not be surprised if it turns out as screwed as i expected it to be.
First of all, wanna extend my condolences to my friend for her mother's demise...i'll be there for you girl, whenever you need to talk, or just to have someone physically there without saying a word. Be strong, ok? As strong as you were that day. Maybe you'll grow even stronger. *hugs*
Was late for work about 2 weeks ago -a very frequent occurence, haha- and when i stepped into the bus 22, i actually thought for a moment i was dreaming. The interior of the bus is VERY different from the normal buses. I took some pics.
A section of the bus. Looks like there's really a bar, but it's just a poster. Realistic on camera though. And yes, those are real swivelling seats that they installed in the bus. Didn't sit on them, and not a lot did. I think most of them are afraid they might fall should the bus turned or something. And yup, there's a real bar counter as well.
The interior of the bus. All the seats are facing each other, kinda like the train carriage seats do. Pretty spacious actually.
This tv is a lot more, erm, cooler i guess, than the normal tv mounted on buses. And yeah, i turned on my bluetooth and downloaded the wallpaper. And i had My Chemical Romance wallpaper too. Had this Chinese one as well, but it was accidental. I wanted another one, but i guess i turned it on too late. And they played MTVs the whole time i was there. A change from all the usual news.
The seat i sat on. Wanted to get a pic of myself sitting, but then realised i can't show how the seats looked like, so had this one taken just before i alighted. Comfy. They should change the cushions of the buses to ones just like this. I'll never get off the bus. LOL
I was sitting right beside the tv, so had a good view of all the vids shown there. It was right at the front of the bus.
I didn't want to get off. Sigh. But what to do, work beckons. I think this is a great publicity gig! They should do more of these. One of the more creative ones. I think it's for Carlsberg, if i'm not mistaken. Whoever came up with this idea should be given a raise. Haha. Wonder which of the other buses are also in on the publicity.
But i think i was only one of the very few who was excited by the whole thing. The rest of the passengers were quite blase about it, i feel. I'm the kiasu one that day, LOL. Never mind.
