Had a very weird encounter this evening. Me and Rose went to Esplanade to chill out. Kinda. Anyway, we were sitting down minding our own business and basically talking crap. You know, the usual. A group of Chinese tourists were nearby taking pics. They were like posing as if they were holding the Merlion in the palms of their hands. 3 of them were doing it at the same time, and it looked like one of those funny candid moments that just had to be photographed. So Rose took out her hp and took shots of them doing that.
Then one of the Chinese tourists came up to us and started talking to us. We can't quite hear and understand what he wanted, but he was gesturing to the cam hanging around his neck, so we deduced that he wanted us to take a pic of us. A bit relieved actually. Thought we were gonna be told off for taking their pics. Haha.
So, anyway, we said ok and we started standing up to get the cam from him. Imagine to our surprise when he raised the cam and started to take our pics!!! We started shielding our faces with our hands and we were saying,"No, no!!!" But he still took the pics anyway. And apparently, one cam is not enough, cuz he went to get another cam and took more pics of us!!!
Thank god he stopped. We were almost ready to like start running away. What was that all about????? That was so weird. Why the hell did he want our pics for???
